Who Should Join the Travel Fluency Challenge?
This challenge is ideal for anyone looking to learn and practice Brazilian Portuguese travel vocabulary, and it’s suitable for learners at all levels.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to enroll.
How does the course work?
The Travel Vocabulary Crash Course is fully self-paced, allowing you to take as much time as you need to complete it. The course consists of seven modules, including around 8 hours of video lessons, quizzes, and downloadable worksheets.
In addition to the course materials, this challenge includes 7 daily assignments and one 2-hour live workshop to help you complete the course and apply what you’ve learned in practice.
How does the challenge work?
Each day, you’ll be prompted to study one module and complete an assignment focused on real-life situations. These questions are designed to help you practice essential vocabulary and phrases that you’ll actually use in Brazil.
Set aside about 30 minutes each day to study the materials and prepare your response. Your response can be in video, audio, or text format. After preparing it, share your answer with the group in the designated comment section.
All the instructions can be found inside the course.
How do the live workshops work?
In addition to the course materials and daily assignments, we’ll also meet for a live 2-hour workshop, where you’ll have the chance to practice what you’ve learned and ask any questions. Come prepared to speak and bring your questions!
To get the most out of these live sessions, please do your best to go through the course materials and complete the daily assignments.
In this workshop, we’ll do some activities to help you practice conversation starters, and we’ll also have time for a Q&A.
The session will be held as follows (content will be adapted based on students’ needs):
December 18th from 2 pm – 4 pm EST (New York time)
When does the course start and finish?
The Travel Vocabulary Crash Course is a completely self-paced online course — you decide when you start and when you finish.
The challenge will take place from December 16 to 22, and the live workshop will be held on December 18. A recording of each the session will be available afterward.
