1. Terms
By accessing the Speaking Brazilian School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Purchases
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through this School, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
The service may employ the use of third party services for the purpose of facilitating payment and the completion of purchases. By submitting your information, you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to our Privacy Policy.
3. Refunds
Regular courses: refund requests for purchases will be granted by Speaking Brazilian School if and only if they occur within the first 30 days of the original sign up.
Private classes: a full refund will be issued if requested before the student’s first class. After the first class, refunds will be issued only for the classes that were not yet taken.
4. User License
1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials;
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site;
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- Transfer the materials to another person or ‘mirror’ the materials on any other server.
2. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Company at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
5. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you guarantee that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on this School.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you without appropriate authorization. You may not use as a username any name that is offensive, vulgar, or obscene.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
6. Facebook Group
Some courses offer access to the Speaking Brazilian School closed Facebook group. This group is to be a friendly and positive environment. If it is deemed by the School that your comments or posts are inappropriate, hateful, mean-spirited, or spam, you will be removed from the group.
If you are unable to access Facebook, the School is under no obligation to provide you with an alternative to the Facebook group.
7. WhatsApp and Telegram Group
Some courses offer access to the Speaking Brazilian School WhatsApp or Telegram group. This group is to be a friendly and positive environment. If it is deemed by the School that your comments are inappropriate, hateful, mean-spirited or spam, you will be removed from the group.
If you request to join the WhatsApp group, you agree to the following:
- share your phone number with the other members of the group;
- do not share members’ phone numbers without their previous consent;
- do not contact members outside the School group without their previous consent;
- delete all records of messages and members’ phone numbers when classes are over.
If you are unable to access WhatsApp or Telegram, the School is under no obligation to provide you with an alternative to the WhatsApp group.
8. Disclaimer
The materials on the Speaking Brazilian School’s website are provided ‘as is’. The School makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, the School does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
Speaking Brazilian School, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the website is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the School will meet your requirements.
9. Limitations
In no event shall the Speaking Brazilian School be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the School’s website, even if the School or an authorized of the School has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

The materials appearing on the Speaking Brazilian School’s website may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The School does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. The School may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. The School does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

Speaking Brazilian School has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the School of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user’s own risk.

The Speaking Brazilian School may revise these Terms of Use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use.
13. Governing Law
Any claim relating to the Speaking Brazilian School’s website shall be governed by the laws of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The School’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the School and the user regarding the services provided by this School and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding this School.
